Incidents is a series of works that explore the way an artwork finds a place in an environment and the mechanisms employed to experience it.
Small works that have to be discovered and studied closely require a completely different way of looking and experiencing an environment than the work made last year for Cupar Arts Festival. Responding to artworks in the town, and other aspects of the Festival, the works will be displayed in a way that is "incidental". The audience should see a relationship emerge , although the works will not necessarily be arranged closely together.
