I believe that still photography has a particular power to trigger memory, and as this building is due to be redeveloped, my aim is to remind people of what was there before.

Inspired by the unusual colours of pink and white in this derelict abandoned warehouse, where huge sheets of plastic hang theatrically from the rafters, I decided to leave well alone. My images are integrated within the environment in which they were shot.

I photograph what "catches the eye", always in natural light and without interfering with the composition that has attracted me, whether it is a street scene, a portrait or a still life.
