THE ABOVE PROJECTS ARE CURATED BY LAURA SIMPSON
Leading on from several months of research into German artists film and video, I see Cupar Arts Festival as a great location to present some of the work which I have encountered during this time. An important part of my practice is to respond to and make connections between the excellent local work and artists we have in Scotland, and international work and artists.

I really enjoyed my involvement with Cupar Art Festival last year, and am very pleased to have the opportunity to contribute this year again. As a curator presenting an exhibition within the Festival, I hope that my project will provide a complementary addition to the artist-presented projects.
